Well the post I was writing seems to have disappeared. I don't know if something happened to my connection to blogger or what, but it froze up on me and I don't have time to figure out what went wrong. The really short version is that I'm heading up to Rochester, Minnesota, in a couple of minutes to visit the awesome family Kluth for the weekend. There was also a discussion of the chapter from C.J. Mahaney's book The Cross Centered Life, that we discussed last night at the church college group. Maybe I'll try to recover it when I get back from Minnesota. In the meantime, everybody have a great weekend and I'll blog to you later.
Verse of the day:
"And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:11 (NIV)

Have fun and be careful! (Yep, it's obvious even to people who don't know me that I'm a mom.)
Some people call it nagging - I call it caring. Ha!
Anyway, have a great time!
I really like the verse of the day. Whenever I read it, I always emphasize WERE. I think it's so powerful.
Word.
Have fun with the Kluths! Like I have to tell you that! Make sure to take good notes on cute baby occurances so you can accurately convey them to me. I wanna know everything they say and do, every nuance.
I just hope Evan isn't still having poop explosions. Maybe he is helping Aiden clean up now. Love you.
Your friend,
Smfy V.
I highly recommend playing with cute babies every weekend.
Have a good trip, and be safe.
Yes, I ditto practically all of the above, especially Ann's. I want to know of any cute little people stories as well. How many do they have now and are they boys or girls? I know one is a boy, but I don't know of any since him. Have fun!!!
And share the story about the little guy who tried to wake you up once.
There are three Kluths, Evan, Aiden, and Newby--no wait, it's Toby, short for Tobias. I think Evan is in the five-year-old ballpark now, and the two others are not that old. All three are boys. How many of you think Jim should keep trying for a girl?
Here's the word for this post:
nvtdmvp I think it stands for Nevada (nv) Toot Departments' Most Valuable Player. I think Ann could give that position a shot, only she would have to move to Arizona.
I mean Nevada--had Becca on the brain (not a good place for her to be)
I don't know--your brain might be a cooler place.
Hey, it is one of the Kluth's here! I'm enjoying wondering how in the world you all know about my kids, especially since I don't know you all, but hey, welcome to cyberland! Evan is 5 and will be going into first grade next fall. He's a kick and was Everett's roommate this weekend. Aidan is 2 "and I'm good at it". He calls Everett "Daddy Elephant". No idea why. Toby is 15 months old and loves getting in there when the older two are roughing up Everett!
And let me get to tell you all before Everett does, we are trying for another baby. We'll see for ourselves in February sometime whether I'm carrying a boy or a girl!
Congratulations, Tara! That's wonderful news! We told Everett that we expect a long post when he returns to tell us all about his trip. Methinks I'll enjoy hearing about "Daddy Elephant"s visit. I'll add you all to my prayers.
Again, congratulations!
And Everett, you better not wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to post! No "case of the Mondays" excuse this time!
Have a safe trip home, too!
Hi, Tara. I'm Everett's mom. That's how come I know about the kids and Evan's "poop explosion". Everett loves to talk about you all and your boys. I just wish you could convince him that it would be a good idea for him to get married and have some kids of his own! Love you all because God and Everett both love you.
Hi Tara. Lydia and I are Everett's little sisters. So, we've heard baby stories. He loves your family a lot. He thinks you're great for Jim, who I think he would have married if Jim were a girl (and didn't have a beard). I always look forward to hearing about your boys, because they sound like wonderful kids, and you guys sound like wonderful parents. I'm really excited about the new baby. God is blessing the world with your family.
Well thanks all. Everett left around 10ish this morning, so we'll hope to hear from him tonight...oh, and you can follow our family directly at minnesotamamma.blogger.com. I joined cyberspace.
Cool! Just to catch me up to speed, is Jim Everett's friend from St. Olaf--I wanna say they met in the pod or something? Long, long ago.
And what is it about Everett and elephants? CJ has Horton, which Everett gave to me years ago, and lately CJ must have Horton in his crib if we expect him to sleep.
Anyway, hope you had a great visit, and look forward to hearing about it.
You're home now, you scoobydoobydoodoobrain. You need to blog. Love you.
Gee, Tara, I don't know. Jim told me not tell anybody about the new baby.
